About Me
Jerome Chandrahasen began stand up comedy in 2003 at the Wellington Comedy Club, Indigo Bar (now San Fran) on Cuba St. He has gone on to perform around the country as an MC, headliner, actor, debater, corporate trainer, and workshop facilitator. He has also appeared on NZ tv screens with Rhys Darby in 2010’s Christmas Comedy Cracker, as well as ‘Amar’ – that Indian looking guy on the Fatso ads.
In 2014 he hit the London comedy circuit and took his solo show Same Same Different to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
He has also performed for clients including: NZ Army, NZ Air Force, NZ Playcentre Association, Deloitte, The Warehouse Group, Wellington City Council, Baldwins law firm, Victoria University Debating Society, Oxford Union, and at venues including the Classic Comedy Bar in Auckland and Wellington’s San Fran.
